American Flag

​       If a flag is worn to the measure where it is no longer able to be repaired, the owner of the flag should turn over the flag to the American Legion Post 335, here in Fort Loramie, or any other local American Legion branch. These organizations have a correct protocol for disposal. However, if you live in an area where the local government will not accept unserviceable flags, then the flag should be burned.
